THE ODDS/HOLLYWOOD


Once again, they made me get rid of my camera. Fasicsts. So I had T run right back out to get it from my car, but THEN the big ol' bouncer guy kept watching me. (fascists) So I snapped a few pics from my camera phone during the show and a few from my camera when I was feeling brave. I didn't want to get thrown out and have to miss the show. (Earlier that night, I walked up to the door to politely ask if we had to stand in line if we had tickets. THEY (fascist bouncers) PRACTICALLY TACKLED ME. I thought they were gonna handcuff me. OBVIOUSLY I look like I'm just gonna make TONS of trouble, all 100 pounds of me)

They wouldn't let me have the bottle to my newcastle either. Kept having to drink out of (and mostly spill) a stupid plasic cup. MAYBE they're afraid that if I have in my possesion a bottle and a camera, I might be able to make some sophisticated type of pipe bomb. Because, you know, I'm crafty that way.

Obnoxious club policies aside, it was a good show, the guys were on their game, the new song is really cool, And the sound balance was really rather nice, (except for tien's mic crapping out at times), so that was refreshing. I'll put more pix up soon. (the "more pix" are up. . . and i just thought it was funny that down the street wes the gilbert hotel. . . )

So about half our group got these burritos and tried to bring them into the restaurant we were at ..which was maybe just a little embarrasing, especially because the smell permeated the area in a unique way. . . :) Anyhow kimchee galbi burritos ...only in LA!
